This is a hidden gem that you won’t even find on Google maps, but when it’s open it has the some of the best German/Polish food this side of the pond.
The story – Years ago, Prosit was a long-standing restaurant in Williamsville. After years of running the restaurant, I believe the owners decided they needed a break from the full-time work, but still loved cooking and baking. The result is Prosit food truck (it doesn’t move). This is a two person operation, and you get the rare opportunity to order directly from a professional chef.
Hours and how to get there – The food truck is only open on Saturdays during the warm season (June – October), typically noon to 6 p.m. I strongly recommend checking their Facebook page to confirm they are open, and for the weeks menu. It’s located at 30 North Cayuga Rd in the Village of Williamsville, 14221.

The food – My photo doesn’t really do it justice. This is sauerbraten, a potato pancake, and spaetzle. The menu is limited, but everything is spectacular and very reasonably priced with good portions. Pictured above is only HALF of an order. In addition to the menu below, they also feature new dessert items each week, which are honestly some of the best desserts I’ve ever had.

Happy Hour/Specials – There are no specials or promotions (there doesn’t need to be). Alcohol is not served. There’s limited outdoor seating, or you can bring the food home as take out.
Rating – 5 out of 5 stars. The combination of reasonable prices and spectacular food is unbeatable. Hours very limited, but definitely worth checking out if you’re able to go when it’s open.
